Live acoustic music night at Fat Ninja Pizza with warm lighting and a relaxed crowd

Acoustic Nights: When KLCC Slows Down

June 08, 2026

KLCC moves fast. Towers, deadlines, dinner squeezed between meetings. So once a week we do the opposite on purpose. The lights come down, a guitar comes out, and for a few hours the city is allowed to be slow.

Acoustic Nights started almost by accident — a friend with a guitar, a quiet Thursday, a room that didn't want to leave. It has since become the night the team looks forward to most.

What the night feels like

No stage, no setlist you have to sit through, no cover charge. Just a musician in the corner, the oven glowing at the centre of the room, and the kind of volume where you can still hear the person across the table.

We didn't plan it as an event. We planned it as a feeling — the one you get when nobody is rushing you out.

What's different on a Thursday

  • The kitchen slows down with you — pizzas come out in waves, not all at once, so the table keeps grazing.
  • The bar leans in — a short list of house pours and a couple of off-menu specials the team is playing with.
  • The room stays late — last orders drift, conversations don't.

Who it's for

It is for the after-work crowd who want one good hour before heading home. For couples who are tired of loud restaurants. For solo diners who'd rather eat to live music than to a phone. Tables by the oven go first, so it's worth a heads-up.

Acoustic Nights run weekly at Star Boulevard KLCC. Check what's coming up, or reserve a table by the fire before they go.
